I’m Raiza, a passionate designer with a unique journey that led me to create a brand dedicated to beautiful, flattering, and sustainable swimwear.

My story began in school, where I pursued a degree in entrepreneurship and business. After graduation, I followed my heart to design school, and graduated from Design School in PR. My love for fashion, especially swimwear, grew stronger with each passing day.

Frustrated by the lack of swimwear that fit my body well while still being sexy, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I purchased sewing machines and began creating swimsuits that flattered my figure. To my delight, friends and strangers alike started requesting custom swimsuits, and I was more than happy to oblige. This led to the birth of Gigizara, a brand that combines my passion for design with my love for the beach and water.

However, life took an unexpected turn when the situation in Puerto Rico became challenging. Seeking a fresh start, I moved to Miami, where I met my wonderful husband. Inspired by this new chapter, I decided to revive Gigizara, but soon after, I paused again as I became a mother. My dreams never faded, and after ten years, with two children and another on the way, I felt it was the perfect time to relaunch Gigizara with a renewed purpose.

Gigizara is not just a brand; it’s a reflection of my love for fashion, the beach, and family. The name itself is a tribute to my grandpas boat. Growing up, we spent countless hours in the water, and those memories continue to inspire my designs today.

My goal with Gigizara is to create high-quality, sustainable bikinis that flatter all body types. As a mom, I understand the importance of feeling confident and beautiful in what you wear. I’m committed to designing swimwear that not only looks good but also makes you feel great.
