Founder Story
About the Founder
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Michelle spent years searching for swimwear that actually fit her pear-shaped body. Nothing worked. So she did what any determined woman would do: she learned to sew and made her own. Between raising three kids and working full-time, she built Gigizara from the ground up. Late nights. Early mornings. Pure passion. Every single piece is tested on her own post-baby body first, C-section scars and all. If it doesn’t make her feel amazing, it doesn’t make the cut.
